Stephen C. Rush博士entered the academic field when he took a position as an Assistant Professor of Radiology at Cornell University Medical College and currently serves as Clinical Associate Professor of Radiation Oncology atNew York University Langone Medical Center。他还是NYU Langone Medical Center和South Nassau社区医院的Gamma刀放射外科手术的主要专家。拉什（Rush）在担任目前的职务之前，在2007年与第103个救援中队一起加入了纽约航空国民警卫队，担任帕拉雷斯库（Pararescue）飞行外科医生。他的工作是培训和维持分配给第103名的PJ的医疗准备。他在2012年成为所有PJ的医学总监。
