Doctor Overview

Dr. Edmund Folefac is a medical oncologist currently serving at The James,Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center. He began his medical training at the University of Ife in Nigeria before moving to the United States to complete his fellowship at Boston University.

Dr. Folefac is passionate about continuing his research, primarily focusing on quitting smoking to help prevent lung cancers. His studies have also looked at lung cancer screening, cancer and aging, as well as personalized medicine. Dr. Folefac has participated in a multitude ofclinical trialsand has been published in various journals.

At The James, Dr. Folefac has been able to pursue his passion towards curing cancer, harnessing their support and resources to help patients cope with theircancer diagnosis.
