普渡大学癌症研究中心的历史

普渡大学癌症研究中心是国家癌症研究所（NCI）指定为基础研究中心。该设施已经参与了40多年的癌症研究，目前雇用了118位正在努力发现治疗癌症的科学家。该中心的研究集中在癌症的细胞水平上。科学家使用他们的发现来影响癌症患者的诊断，治疗和生活质量，包括万博专业版。但是，患者没有在中心接受护理。该机构纯粹是为了研究。

The Purdue University Cancer Research Center was the first center to receive NCI designation in the state of Indiana. Since then, the center has fostered connections with other institutions to better serve cancer patients. The Purdue University Cancer Research Center is partnered with Walther Cancer Institute, Indiana University Melvin and Bren Simon Cancer Center and the Oncological Sciences Center at Purdue University’s Discovery Park. Patients being treated at these centers and others benefit from the research conducted at the Purdue University Cancer Research Center.
